Coronavirus: Pacifica Senior Living residents, staff receive vaccines – Vacaville Reporter
Wednesday marked a day of optimism at Pacifica Senior Living. The assisted living center was among several facilities approved by Solano County to have coronavirus vaccines provided to staff and residents.
Kaiser Permanente doctors were on hand to administer the Moderna vaccines in a booth in the parking lot. Benjamin Gammon, an EMS coordinator with Solano’s Health and Social Services department, said the state sends the vaccines and the county delegates tiers for the vaccines to be distributed while also working with NorthBay and Kaiser.
“We’re also providing help with giving vaccines,” he said. “We have two nurses and two paramedics in our team for the Solano County EMS, and we’re working with Medic Ambulance to provide an EMT.”…
