53rd Annual Rotary Corn and Chicken Feed at BN Park from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Take out orders will be available. Advance tickets are available from any Wadena Rotary member, at Central MN Credit Union, Mid-Central Federal Savings, Thrifty White Drug and Wadena State Bank. Tickets will be available at the gate, but they are $1 more than advance tickets. Advance tickets: $8.50/Adult $5/ Child 10 and under.

Learn the art of Square Dance. Wadena whirlaways and Ray’s Prominaders invite you to join them at the Pillager fairgrounds on August 17 for a FREE ABC dance from 1-4 p.m. Everyone ages 8 to 80 are welcome!

Sunday, Aug. 18

St. John Lutheran Church, Wadena is holding their Vacation Bible School titled “Miraculous Mission” on August 18-22 for ages 3 to 12 years old. A light meal will be served at 5:30 p.m., with activities from 6-8 p.m. Each evening will begin with the “Miraculous Mission” opening followed by storytelling, snacks, games, crafts and music. Tri-County Health Care’s monthly Adult Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group will meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Wesley Conference Room at Tri-County Health Care (TCHC) in Wadena. A Senior Health Clinic sponsored by Wadena County Public Health will be held at the Sebeka Senior Center from 8:30-11:30 a.m. Health screening including blood pressure, foot care, health information and referrals are provided.
